Pierre-Alexis Gilbert studied cabinetmaking and joined the furniture department at the Decorative Arts in Paris , specializing in furniture design after his Degree at the DNSEP Fine Arts of Rennes, in the Design department.
For two years, he worked alongside great names of French design such as Christophe Pillet and Jean-Marie Massaud, working for prestigious companies like Magis, Baccarat, Ligne Roset, Lanvin, Cacharel and Paloma Picasso before joining the Christian Liaigre design studio, which is renowned for its interior architecture and custom made furniture. Pierre-Alexis Gilbert had the opportunity to work on projects all over the world : Bora-Bora, Saint-Barthélemy, The Dominican Republic, Paris, Switzerland and Asia, on a variety of projects, going from private residences, hotels, restaurants. After seventeen years at Liaigre he joined
the LK company as Associate Manager.
