The latest creation to the Silvio family is a circular dining table with a central leg and a pure geometric design. The taut lines and solid shapes highlight the combination of textures and materials in striking contrasts. Starting with the base in cast brass with the rough appearance of a granite concrete that responds to the brilliance of the top in Ziricote, a precious species, dear to luthiers, whose black veins draw a landscape of beauty made of undulations and overlaps. Between the two, the turned barrel is lacquered in a deep black. The Silvio table is a successful combination of lightness and power, in keeping with Philippe Hurel's tradition of fine cabinet making.
